Samsung today unveiled what is possibly the first phone supporting the upcoming, fast LTE network. Samsung Mobile has really taken advantage of their floor time at the CTIA wireless show in Las Vegas. Following the release of the Wave S8500 and the Galaxy S, the company introduced the second 4G phone to debut at the show. The SCH-r900 won’t run on the WiMAX network that Sprint and Clearwire use; instead, it will run on the LTE network that is still at least 7 or 8 months away from being initialized.
When it comes to 4G phones, Samsung won’t be the first as HTC will be shipping their HTC Evo 4G this summer way ahead of the SCH-r900. However, LTE is supposed to be much faster than the Evo’s WiMax, with speeds of upto 100MBps vs. speeds of 10Mbps for WiMax.
MetroPCS plans to initially deploy a commercial LTE network in various metropolitan markets, including the Las Vegas metropolitan area where Samsung Mobile LTE network products will be used, in the second half of 2010. Dell has unveiled the Inspiron M101Z, a new AMD-based sub-laptop that marks the arrival of the smaller rival to Intel in the pipping hot “thin and portable” segment on the laptop market.

he Dell Inspiron M101z features the AMD Athlon Neo K125 single core or K325 dual core processor, a 11.6-inch (1366 x 768) HD TLF WLED display, ATI Radeon RS880M integrated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, and up to 320GB hard disk capacity.

There are other features which includes a 1.3MP webcam, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA and HDMI outputs, LAN, a 3-in-1 media card reader, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel. The Dell Inspiron M101z runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS and with color options including pink, blue, red, and black.

Samsung has introduced two smaller sized LED TV models for the Indian market. The LED TVs are now available in sizes of 22-inches and 26-inches and start from an affordable price of Rs. 25,000.
